Wild life management has always been a large interest within the family and we see wild meat as an important natural and locally sourced protein nourishment.

At Ansta all cloven-hooved game can be found and in particular fallow deer.

Ethics and respect for the animal are vital when we hunt. Recent years we have seen a higher demand for a day out shooting, which is positive, but this always needs balancing in a sustainable way with forestry and agriculture.
